Clarity...WEEK 2

ClarityWhat is true of You?

Finding and fulfilling your purpose is the greatest adventure you can have in this life. - Rick Joyner

Some time ago, I went to my 20-year high school reunion.  I had not been to any of the previous reunions so this was the first time I saw most of the people I graduated with.  It was fun to see them and catch up.  But throughout the evening and afterward I had, at times overwhelmingly, a deep sadness. Twenty years after school, many were beaten down, lost, regretful, stressed, and in some way “failing”, and faking that everything was ok or even great.  Since then, I have not been able to stop reflecting on how many of us were not prepared to live in the world that they were going to encounter.  Many had a hope of what would happen in our lives, but failed relationships, regret over poor decisions, missed opportunities took their toll.  Feelings of hurt and disappointment seemed to rule the day; experiencing loss about what happened to our lives.  I am not sure how many would have said “God worked it out.”  What happened?
Winging it has a great cost – stress, depression, busy with no direction, regret, chaos, broken relationships – these are the result when we live life without context and clarity.

Do you feel lost?

Do you feel like you should be further along in life?

Explain what your life feels like.
